Enrichment is a marketplace category — music, arts, coding, STEM, martial arts, swim — when offered by an approved vendor as education.

Can a Houston family pay for this from a TEFA account?

TEFA — private school ($10,474)Conditional / approved vendor only

Rules that apply

  • Only vendors approved in the marketplace can be paid.
  • Recreation without an instructional purpose is not eligible.

125 Houston-area enrichment and class providers are approved, from STEM labs to swim and martial arts.

How to buy it

Log in to the TEFA parent portal (Odyssey). Pay your school or an approved provider through the platform, or buy approved products in the marketplace. If a provider isn't listed, it has to apply and be approved before it can be paid.
