Online and out-of-state programs can be paid if the provider applies and is approved.

Rules that apply

  • A virtual private school can be the enrolling school only if it meets school requirements, including a Texas office.
  • Online course providers can join as vendors on a rolling basis.

What isn't allowed

  • Unapproved online programs

How to buy it

Log in to the TEFA parent portal (Odyssey). Pay your school or an approved provider through the platform, or buy approved products in the marketplace. If a provider isn't listed, it has to apply and be approved before it can be paid.
